On Friday night, Britt took Garrett out to Lake Lavon for his first overnight camping trip. Last summer they spent several nights in the tent in our backyard, but this was their first time to go somewhere else. I have never seen Garrett more excited about something. He couldn't wait for Britt to get home from work on Friday afternoon. They got out to Lake Lavon around 4:00 and spent the afternoon exploring, fishing and setting up the tent. Gaitley and I joined them for hot dogs and s'mores around 7:00. Garrett was ready for us to go home because he didn't think the girls belonged out in the woods with the boys. Britt said he did great and even slept until 8:00 the next morning. He is already excited about their next camping trip.

Garrett spent all day Sunday playing in the water. He started out with water balloons, then moved to the sprinkers, and then finally the neighborhood kids convinced our next door neighbor to let them go swimming in their pool. It was freezing, but the kids loved it.

what a great idea with camping! I can only imagine how excited Garrett was....
So cute, Lindsey!!! Get ready for summer! Bailey has been loving the hose, too, when I water the plants. I think she has been soaked every day this week! I can't wait to see them all at the pool :)
