Cowboys Game

We were lucky enough to land four FREE Cowboys tickets to the game on Sunday against Atlanta. We had great seats and even a parking pass. Britt, Garrett, Britt's dad and I went to the game and Gaitley got to stay home and play with Nanny Carolyn. The new stadium is amazing and it was so fun to get to see it. Garrett loved the game and was very proud of his new Witten jersey and football. All he can talk about is having a football birthday party and he wants to take his friends to the stadium to play football. He did like watching the game, but I think his favorite part was the cheerleaders. They certainly caught his attention!

Ft. Worth Air Show

On Saturday, Britt, Garrett and Papa went to Ft. Worth to the flight show. Garrett loves airplanes and enjoyed getting to see them up close. He even got to walk on the wing of one and get inside another.

Pumpkin Patch

We finally made it out to the Pumpkin Patch over the weekend. Britt's parents were in town and enjoyed helping the kids pick out their pumpkins.

Cute Cowboy

Garrett had Western Day at school and loved dressing up like a cowboy. His John Deere boots from last year were too small, so he got to pick out some new ones. He made a fantastic choice. They are square toe with a yellow top. My brother Lance is so proud! He loved wearing his cowboy hat and yelling, "yee-haw, ride 'em cowboy!" If you notice in the pictures, he only has on one spur and it is on the outside of his jeans. We found Britt's spurs from when he was little and one was broken and they were too small. He didn't want to wear the broken one and the only place they would fit was around his ankle instead of his boot.

First Pigtails

Gaitley's hair is pretty long in the back and I have been dying to put it in pigtails. I finally found some little rubber bands and we tried it out. She didn't mind at all me messing with her hair and loved feeling them in the back. We did try to wear them out one day and that didn't work. When I took her out of her car seat, one of the rubber bands was gone. When I took the other one out her hair was just sticking straight out. It was a mess. Her hair is so fine that I'm going to have to find a way to make them stay in better. I guess we'll just wear them around the house for now.

Halloween Pajamas

I got the kids matching skeleton pajamas this year for Halloween. I wanted to do a little photo shoot and get a great picture of them in their pj's. Garrett did a fantastic job and was all about posing for the camera. Gaitley was not in the mood at all to take pictures. She started crying every time I put her out there. I only got one of the two of them. It's not great, but I guess it will do.

Scooters and Superheroes

Gaitley wants to do everything that Garrett does. She had so much fun getting pushed around on his scooter. She's a little daredevil, so it probably won't be too much longer until she is trying to do it all by herself.

Garrett went to a superhero birthday party at the end of September and has worn his mask and cape almost every day since the party. He always likes to wear it outside so it will fly as he runs. I just thought this picture of him with the cape, mask and roller skates was hilarious.
